Hometown Defenseman Magrino joins the Hawks for the upcoming season….

Palm Beach, FL. (JULY 17, 2017) Boca Raton’s Canadian born Dominic Magrino, stands at 6’2 - 165lbs has signed with the Jr Hawks for the 2017-18 season. Born in 2000 playing hockey since age 6, also a referee since age 15.  Dominic states “I play the game of hockey because I love it and I'd like to see how far hockey can take me in life”.  He grew up inside the Panthers Youth Hockey Program, last year playing U-16 AA. Dominic will be in top 4 of defense for the ELITE Jr. Hawks starting this upcoming season.

 

Coach Frenchy: “Dominic will be an exciting project for our hockey club, we believe he has so much potential waiting to develop. Some athletes get their skills younger; Dominic is a late bloomer and we know there is so much more within him. He will be a great asset for our defense bringing a splendid work ethic. Dominic also sees the game from a unique perspective having been referring. Another powerful addition for our teams 2017-18 season.”

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL.com), which operates in 20 of the 50 United States, is the Nation’s largest amateur ice hockey league. The league is comprised of 171 teams representing 61 organizations.  Players in the USPHL are 8 to 21 years of age.   During the previous season, the USPHL had over 300 players advance to the collegiate level; even more advanced to other levels of the game, establishing the USPHL as the foremost producer of player advancement in the United States.
